All data collected through our systems is stored securely on protected cloud environments integrated with the university's Enterprise Resource Planning database.

• Payment Security: The university website does not store raw credit card numbers, CVV codes, or online banking passwords on local servers. All transactional information is processed directly on PCI-DSS compliant secure checkout pages hosted by PG, using secure server layer encryption protocols.
• Technical Safeguards: The university implements firewall protection, role-based database access, automated backup protocols, secure callback URL verification, and regular vulnerability scans on poornima.edu.in and its payment portals.
• User Responsibility: While the university employs robust security measures, users must maintain the absolute confidentiality of their portal passwords, OTPs, and payment credentials.

4. Restrictive Disclosure and Third-Party Sharing

Poornima University does not sell, rent, or trade personal or academic data to external commercial marketing agencies. Data is shared only under strict confidentiality agreements with authorized third parties:

• CCAvenue (AvenuesAI Limited): Shared only to authenticate, authorize, and reconcile online fee payments.
• Tata Consultancy Services (TCS iON): Shared to update and maintain the student database, academic portfolios, and examination registrations.
• Banking Institutions: Shared to facilitate educational loans or process direct bank transfer refunds under Form S5.
• Statutory Regulators: Personal or academic records may be disclosed to government bodies or law enforcement agencies if required under the Information Technology Act, 2000, or in compliance with judicial mandates.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The university uses cookies and similar session tokens to optimize web performance, personalize search results, and authenticate portal logins. Users can configure their browsers to decline cookies; however, doing so may restrict access to several payment and student self-service features on poornima.edu.in.
